Donations and pledges amounting to $413,086 have been received during the first three weeks of the eight-week campaign to raise $1,365,000 for the United Way of Niagara.
The amount raised so far representes about 30 percent of the campaign goal. Campaign Chairman James Strassburg said the money would help to support 19 member agencies that provide more than 50 specialized programs and services in western Niagara County.
Separate United Way fund drives are held in eastern Niagara County and in the Tonawandas.
The United Way of Niagara will end its 1999 campaign with a luncheon Nov. 5.
