Guests will wear costumes from various decades of the last 100 years for "The 20th Century Review," a fund-raiser for the Church Mission of Help at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 7 in the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society.
The three-hour event, "An Evening of Jazz and Remembrances," will feature jazz performed by pianist Al Tinney, the Amherst Saxophone Quartet and Sam Falzone and the Buffalo Jazz Workshop against a backdrop of large black and white photographs displayed in the museum's State Court. Hors d'oeuvres, beverages and desserts will be served.
Tickets for regular admission are $75, or $125 for patrons. The proceeds will benefit the West Utica Street counseling center, a member agency of Episcopal Church Services. Reservations must be made by Friday.
