Former Major League Baseball commissioner Fay Vincent will speak at Canisius College at 7 p.m. Oct. 22 in the Grupp Fireside Lounge in the Richard E. Winter Student Center.

The lecture, entitled The Ten Commandments of Sports Management, is free to the public.

Vincent, who was baseball's commissioner from 1989 to 1992, also served as vice president of the Coca-Cola Company.

Goaltender Scott Diebold earned MVP honors as the West Seneca Wings Mite Minor hockey team beat the Hamburg Hawks, 2-0, in the finals of the David Leshner Memorial Tournament Sunday in Rochester. David Zale and Sean Cassidy scored West Seneca's goals.
Single-game tickets for all 22 regular-season home games for the Buffalo Blizzard will go on sale at 9 a.m. Saturday.

Fans can purchase tickets at all Fantastix outlets, Sam the Record Man and at the Marine Midland Arena box office. Tickets can also be purchased with a credit card by calling 855-4400 or 1-888-223-6000.

Individual game tickets are $16 for 10 0/2 00 club level, $12 for corners, and $8 for 100 level ends.

The home-opener is Nov. 5 against the Montreal Impact.
