Theresa M. Barcaro, 78, of 74th Street died Sunday (Sept. 26, 1999) in Crestwood Health Care Center, Wheatfield, after a lengthy illness. She had been a patient there since March.
The former Theresa Mangia was born in Altoona, Pa., and moved to Niagara Falls upon her marriage in 1946.
Mrs. Barcaro was a homemaker. She enjoyed bowling.
She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society. She also belonged to the Altar and Rosary Society of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Lewiston.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Guido P.; a son, Frank of Lakeland, Fla.; two daughters, Deborah LaDota and Annette, both of Lewiston; one brother, Michael Mangia of Altoona; two sisters, Pauline Wales and Julia Figart, both of Altoona; and five grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N. Military Road, with prayers at 8:45 in Hardison Funeral Home, Ridge and North Fourth streets, Lewiston. Entombment will be in Holy Angels Chapel Mausoleum, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston.
