Judy Evelyn Laubisch, 50, of West Seneca, a retired equal opportunity compliance specialist for the U.S. Department of Labor, died Monday (Sept. 20, 1999) in Buffalo General Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Buffalo, she graduated magna cum laude from the University at Buffalo with a bachelor of science degree in business administration.

Prior to working for the Department of Labor, she was employed as a personnel director at Beechwood Nursing Home, Turgeon Restaurants and several other companies.

Survivors include her father, Carl of Lexington, Va.; a sister, Pauline Mallon of West Seneca; two brothers, Mark of Byron, and Terrence of Medina; and a dear family friend, Judi Jones of Buffalo.

She donated her body to UB for medical research. Services will be private.
