EARTHQUAKES TUMBLE HOUSES OF CARDS

A television reporter is doing a live broadcast from Taiwan, where a recent earthquake destroyed many buildings, including several recently built. Critics say that the shoddy construction of some of these buildings during the boom time created an almost "House of Cards" quality to them.

The reporter says, "While contractors defend their construction techniques in earthquake regions, rescue workers continue searching through the cards for survivors."

In the background, rescue workers sift through some playing cards, looking for survivors.
