Andre Agassi can't count Jimmy Connors as one of his big fans.
Connors said Agassi, the world's No. 1 player, doesn't belong "in the same breath" with him and other tennis greats.
During a conference call with British tennis reporters, Connors criticized Agassi, the 1999 French and U.S. Open champion, for squandering his talent for so long before a resurgence this year.
Asked if Agassi deserved to be linked with Pete Sampras and retired greats like himself, John McEnroe and Bjorn Borg, Connors was quick to shoot down the notion.
"I wouldn't mention his name in the same breath," Connors was quoted as saying in Wednesday's London newspapers.
