WOMEN CHARGED WITH RAPE

Two Warsaw women were charged with third-degree rape and second-degree unlawfully dealing with a child, after they allegedly had sex with teen-age boys.

Marcy A. Grover, 24, of South Main Street and Kristy M. Hare, 22, of Oak Street, were charged last week following an investigation by the Warsaw Police Department and the Wyoming County Sheriff's Department.

They reportedly had sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old boy from Warsaw and a 14-year-old boy from Gainesville.

Grover and Hare also are accused of having purchased cigarettes for teen-agers. Hare was additionally cited for endangering the welfare of a child and permitting unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle for allegedly allowing a 14-year-old boy to drive her car.

Police said other children were in the vehicle at the time.

The alleged incidents occurred in Warsaw. The women were arraigned, then committed to Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
