Six Buffalo Public School pupils were transported to Children's Hospital Monday after their school bus had a minor collision with a passenger car.
John Fahey, assistant superintendent for safety, said the crash occurred at about 8:30 a.m. as the small bus was eastbound on Breckenridge Avenue. The bus was attempting to turn onto DeWitt Street when another vehicle, also attempting a left turn, squeezed on the inside of the bus, Fahey said.
The bus driver was forced to stop abruptly, jostling some of the 11 pupils on board, Fahey added. Six of them were transported to Children's Hospital as a precaution, then released.
