Francis L. Tucker, 88, of Wallace Avenue, an electrician who owned the former Tucker Electric, died Friday (Sept. 17, 1999) in Newfane Inter-Community Memorial Hospital.
A native of Newfane, he operated the business for more than 20 years before his retirement in 1960.
A former Medina resident, he was a member of First Baptist Church here. He had been a member of the Newfane Lions Club and Aerie 825, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Lockport.
Survivors include his wife, the former Dorothy Allen; three sons, Ronald of Barker, Benjamin of LaMesa, Calif., and Mark of Jacksonville Beach, Fla; a daughter, Shirley Ryan of Newfane; three brothers, Walter of the City of Tonawanda, Raymond of Medina, and Robert of Baton Rouge, La.; a sister, Laura Allen of Daytona Beach, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church, 6047 East Ave. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Lockport.
