For the first time ever, Buffalo's Common Council is likely to have six women come the start of the new year.
Last week's Democratic primary set the stage for this history-making event with Council President James W. Pitts presiding over the new-look Council.

Former Council President George K. Arthur thinks some good will come of it. But he does have one rather dire prediction.
"James is going to lose what little hair is left on his head," Arthur says.
