Millionaire rapper Master P hasn't given up his dream of making the NBA. Master P, born in New Orleans as Percy Miller, was invited to training camp by the Toronto Raptors. He was waived by the Charlotte Hornets during camp last season.
Miller, 29, has parlayed his rap records into a flourishing business with his own label, No Limit Records, and a financial interest in a sports agent business, No Limit Sports. His company represents NFL rookie Ricky Williams, and NBA players Ron Mercer and Derek Anderson. In other NBA news:
The Chicago Bulls renounced their rights to guard Ron Harper and re-signed forward Dickey Simpkins. Harper, 35, started for the Bulls the last five seasons and was part of three championship teams. Simpkins is coming off his best season when he averaged 9.1 points and 6.8 rebounds.
