INFORMANT'S TIP LEADS TO FALLS DRUG ARREST

An informant's tip Thursday led to the arrest of a 52-year-old man who was found with more than 1,000 milligrams of suspected crack cocaine in his possession, Detective James Galie said.

Junius Watkins of 20th Street was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell at 12:30 p.m. near 19th Street and Ferry Avenue by Galie and Detectives Patrick Stack and Ted Weed. The arrest came after Galie said the police Criminal Intelligence Division received word from an informant that Watkins had just bought crack.
