One juvenile has admitted to taking part in a weekend burglary at a service station in which about $900 worth of merchandise was stolen, city police said.
Chet Plymel, owner of Chet's Mobil at 507 Washington St., contacted police early Sunday to report his business had been burglarized overnight. Officers said a large assortment of cigarettes, candy, and other items were taken.
Police said a citizen provided a tip to one of the service station's employees about who may have been involved. The employee told police, who investigated and recovered a large portion of the stolen property.
Officers said a neighborhood youth has confessed to taking part. Further arrests are expected.
