GROUNDBREAKING SET AT FALLS BASE

Ground will be broken Tuesday afternoon for a $4 million aircraft maintenance building at the Niagara Falls Air Force Reserve Base.

The building, scheduled for completion at the end of next year, will house aerospace ground support equipment, aircraft engine and propeller repair shops, and aircraft structural repair operations.

According to a base spokesman, more than $10 million is expected to become available for further military construction and upgrades at the Niagara Falls base during the federal government's fiscal year 2000.
