POLICE TRY TO IDENTIFY BODY

Authorities are attempting to identify the body of a man that was pulled out of the Lower Niagara River on Thursday near the American Falls, state Parks Police said.

The body, spotted shortly before 3:30 p.m. by a Maid of the Mist boat crew, was turned over to Parks Police, Sgt. Lou Bosilkovski said. It is that of a white man believed to be between 18 and 25.
