Yvette L. Casey, 42, formerly of Calumet Avenue, died Tuesday (Jan. 26, 1999) in Conyers, Ga., after a brief illness.

The former Yvette Palmore was born in Niagara Falls and attended local schools, graduating with honors. She was also a graduate of Niagara University with a bachelor's degree in accounting.

She received a fellowship to Indiana University in 1980 and was awarded a master's degree in finance in 1982.

In 1983, she was a senior accountant at the Coca-Cola Co. in Atlanta. In 1988, she became the finance manager of Digital Equipment.

Mrs. Casey was an active member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church here. She was also a member of the Beulah Baptist Church in Decatur, Ga.

Survivors include her husband, Cornell D.; her parents, Eddie and Edith Palmore; two sisters, Renee P. Beaman of Wilmington, Del., and Jenifer Jones of Decatur, Ga.; and her grandmother, Lillian Roberts of Toronto.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in Mount Zion Baptist Church, 1334 Calumet Ave. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston.
