UB SCHOLAR TO DISCUSS 'DARWIN AND FEMINISM'

Elizabeth Grosz, an internationally known scholar who recently joined the University at Buffalo faculty, will discuss the connection between feminism and Darwin's theories of evolution at 2 p.m. Feb. 10 in the Center for the Arts on UB's North Campus in Amherst.

Her talk, "Darwin and Feminism: Preliminary Investigations Into a Possible Alliance," will be the first in the Spring 1999 Distinguished Faculty Lecture Series of the UB Institute for Research and Education on Women and Gender.
