Chautauqua County sheriff's officers arrested three people Friday afternoon in a chase prompted by an apparent robbery in Warren County, Pa.
Michael L. Genualdi, 23 of Elmwood Park, Ill., Giovanni Labbate, 22, of Hardwood Heights, Ill., and Jeffrey R. Eklove, 19, of Kentwood, Miss., are accused of staging a robbery in a home on Route 62, just north of Warren.
State police at Warren said the three tied up a 13-year-old boy and locked a 3-year-old in a room before they stole $10,600 in cash, collectible coins and bills.
State police arrested the three in their getaway car on the Southern Tier Expressway in the Town of Sherman about 12:30 p.m. Friday.
The money was recovered during the arrest. All three are charged with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property and are in Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail each. They face robbery, burglary and unlawful restraint charges in Warren County.
