ECIDA trade mission to India scheduled
The Erie County Industrial Development Agency is looking for eight to 10 companies that sell environmental products and services to take part in a trade mission to India.
The 12-day trip will include visits to three major cities where meetings have been arranged with business prospects. The delegation will leave on March 12.
Some of India's largest cities rank among the worst-polluted cities in the world and economic planners said it represents a promising market for pollution control equipment.
Grant money is available through the Empire State Development Corp. to companies that participate. For information, call Ed Arnold at ECIDA, 856-6525.
