Nicholas V. Paolone, 53, a sales manager for St. Laurent Packaging Corp., North Tonawanda, died Friday (Jan. 29, 1999) in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst, after a brief illness.
Born in Niagara Falls, he graduated from Niagara Falls High School, and attended Niagara County Community College and the University of Buffalo.
He served domestically in the U.S. Army in the 1960s.
For the past 33 years, Paolone worked for St. Laurent, formerly Lawless Container Corp. He started as a production worker and rose to sales management.
He was a vestryman and active member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
Survivors include his wife, the former Jill M. Palumbo; a son, Nicholas A.; and a daughter, Dana L.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Ridge and Fourth streets, preceded by prayers at 9:30 in Rhoney Funeral Home, Cayuga and South Ninth streets. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
