"Coping in a Bewildering Financial Environment" will be the topic for the "UB at Sunrise" breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Feb. 18 in the Center for Tomorrow on the University at Buffalo's North Campus in Amherst.
Lewis Mandell, dean of the university's School of Management since August, will discuss the often-complicated financial decisions we all must make. He also will give tips on improving personal finances.
An expert on banking, commercial lending, credit cards and consumer credit, he has written 16 books on understanding personal finance.
His most recent book, "Our Vulnerable Youth: The Financial Literacy of American 12th Graders," was published in 1998 by the Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy.
