Ken Griffey Jr. isn't interested right now in a contract extension with the Seattle Mariners. And he may not be at any time.
Seattle tried last fall to open discussions with Griffey, who is eligible for free agency after the 2000 season.
"The Mariners shouldn't be concentrating on me right now, they shouldn't be concentrating on Alex (Rodriguez)," Griffey said. "They've got to get somebody who can get some damned outs."
