25 BAGS OF CRACK FOUND IN BURGLARY SUSPECT

An burglary suspect who hid 25 bags of crack cocaine in a lower body cavity was taken to Sheehan Memorial Hospital early today for his safety, authorities said.

While Larry D. Brown, 24, of Sussex Street was being searched in the cellblock at Buffalo Police Headquarters, officers discovered seven bags of crack cocaine, police said.

Concerned for his health, police took Brown to the hospital, where doctors recovered 18 more bags of the drug, according to Broadway Station Officers Martin Forero and Kristin Langdon.

Brown was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, burglary and criminal mischief in an 1:15 a.m. break-in on of Peck Street, police said.
