Janet H. Lee, 69, of North Tonawanda died Tuesday (Jan. 26, 1999) in Millard Fillmore Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born Janet Hayford in Morristown, N.J., she was a graduate of Morristown High School.
She retired from federal credit unions in Buffalo and Niagara Falls and had worked at the Niagara Falls Air Force Base, the Echo Club and Graphic Controls. She also worked part time as a housekeeper for Moonlite Motel in Niagara Falls.
Mrs. Lee was a member of the Echo Club and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors include three daughters, Lynda of North Tonawanda, Edythe of the Town of Tonawanda and Laurene McKinney of North Tonawanda; a son, Harold "Hook" of North Tonawanda; two brothers, Robert Hayford of Morristown and John Hayford of Rochester; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A private gathering for family and friends will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at 100 Witmer Road, North Tonawanda.
