George E. Curtis Sr., 58, of Swann Road, a millwright for 20 years at Harrison Delphi Thermal Systems in Lockport, died Tuesday (Jan. 26, 1999) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital after a long illness.
A native of Watertown, Curtis moved to Niagara Falls in 1957. He was a 1961 graduate of Trott Vocational High School.
He was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church in the Town of Niagara; Lodge 584, Loyal Order of Moose; and the National Rifle Association.
He was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, the former Rose Marie Zoda; two sons, George E. Jr. and Brian, both of Niagara Falls; a daughter, Charlotte Trusello; two sisters, Shirley Backus of Natural Bridge and Donna Burnett of Grover, N.C.; and seven grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Town of Niagara, after prayers at 10 in M.J. Colucci & Son Funeral Chapel, 468 19th St., Niagara Falls.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls.
