Cora A. Munzel Clark, a former employee of Southland Foods in Barker, died Wednesday (Jan. 27, 1999) in Orchard Manor Nursing Home, Medina, after a lengthy illness. She was 93.
Born Cora Luke in Ontario, N.Y., she grew up in the Ontario-Penfield area.
She married Andrew Munzel in 1937, the year they moved to Lyndonville. He died in 1964.
In 1976, she married Myron Clark. He died in 1983.
Mrs. Clark lived on Roosevelt Highway before moving into the Medina nursing home.
She worked for Southland Foods for many years.
She was a longtime member of St. John's Lutheran Church and was an active member of the church's Ladies Aid Society.
Mrs. Clark enjoyed crocheting afghans and gardening, especially caring for her flowers.
Survivors include three daughters, Marian Loke and Donna Quiett, both of Barker, and Corrine Bell; a brother, Alfred Luke of Florida; two sisters, Gladys Rueckwald of Texas and Dorothy Hyman of Florida; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in St. John's Church, 10213 Roosevelt Highway. Burial will be in Lynhaven Cemetery.
