HENRIETTA KANAGY, FORMER RESTAURANT OWNER

Henrietta "Etta" Kanagy, 93, of North Dighton, Mass., a former Buffalo restaurant owner, died Thursday (Jan. 21, 1999) in her home.

Born Henrietta Oswald in Buffalo, she owned and operated Etta's Restaurant in Buffalo and Tonawanda.

She was active in senior citizens groups before moving from Amherst to North Dighton to live with her daughter five years ago.

She was a member of Seventh- day Adventist Church in Taunton, Mass.

She was the widow of Arthur Mueller and Clayton Kanagy.

Surviving are her daughter, Gloria Johnson of North Dighton; a sister, Flora Williams of the City of Tonawanda; three grandsons; and four great-grandsons.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday in Seventh-day Adventist Church, Taunton. Burial will be in Ridge Lawn Cemetery, Cheektowaga.
