FORMER AKRON TRUSTEE TO MAKE MAYORAL RUN

Former Akron Village Board Trustee Lee L. Frank, a Democrat, Tuesday announced his candidacy for mayor in the March election.

Frank, a Skyline Drive resident, received the endorsement of the new Good Government Party in a unanimous vote Monday night.

A retired area staff representative with the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees who currently works for the Veterans Advocate Services Agency in Buffalo, Frank served on the Village Board from 1988 to 1992.
