FALLS MAN SENTENCED TO PRISON IN DRUG CASE

A Niagara Falls man accused of selling cocaine to an undercover police officer in December 1997, was sentenced to serve four to eight years in prison Tuesday by County Judge Amy J. Fricano.

Jimmy L. Anthony, 41, of Memorial Parkway, who pleaded guilty Nov. 30 to a reduced charge of attempted third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, was sentenced as a prior felon. He was indicted Aug. 4 on charges of third-degree criminal sale and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance in connection with the Niagara Falls incident.
