ELAINE COLANGELO BECKER

A Mass of Christian Burial for Elaine Colangelo Becker, 66, of Amherst, a retired medical technician, will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Christopher's Catholic Church, 2660 Niagara Falls Blvd., Town of Tonawanda.

Prayers will be said at 8:45 in Dengler Funeral Home, 2070 Eggert Road, Amherst. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.

Mrs. Becker, a Buffalo native, died Monday (Jan. 25, 1999) in Millard Fillmore Hospital after apparently suffering a heart attack at her home.

She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy and received a degree in medical science from D'Youville College. She worked for 20 years at Erie County Medical Center as a medical technician in the hematology department.

Mrs. Becker was a volunteer usher at Artpark and Studio Arena Theatre and enjoyed traveling. She was an avid walker and enjoyed golf, bowling and playing bridge.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Donald W.; a daughter, Elaine Lewis of Rochester; four sons, Brian of Florida, William of North Carolina, Mark and James; her mother, Rachel Colangelo of Amherst; a brother, Frank Colangelo of Cheektowaga; and four grandchildren.
