Agnes L. Crawford, 101, a former Perry resident, died Sunday (Jan. 24, 1999) in Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw.

Born Agnes Lynch in Campbellford, Ont., she taught school at St. Mary's School in Toronto, Ont., from 1918 to 1934, when she married James Eugene Crawford and moved to Perry. Her husband died in 1984.

She had been a member of St. Joseph's Church here since 1934 and was a former member of the Altar and Rosary Society and the Ladies of Charity in Buffalo.

Surviving are a son, John of Hemlock; two daughters, Mary Catherine Heuhn of Winchester, Va., and Frances Masterson of Irondequoit; a sister, Frances Doherty of Hastings, Ont.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph's Church, 71 Leicester St. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
