Jeanette Susko, 71, of Horseshoe, N.C., died Jan. 7, 1999, in Margaret Pardee Hospital, Hendersonville, N.C., after suffering a stroke.
Born Jeanette Wypych in Buffalo, she was raised in West Seneca.
Mrs. Susko was co-owner of Best Deal Fine Furniture, 2601 Genesee St. near Harlem Road, Cheektowaga. She also was the bookkeeper there for 23 years, retiring in 1979.
She was a member of Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church in Cheektowaga. Recently, she was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Hendersonville.
Mrs. Susko enjoyed world travel, history and reading.
She was a member of the Women's Democratic Club of Buffalo.
From 1980 to 1993, she lived in Dunedin, Fla., where she was a homemaker and member of the Polish-American Club.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Walter of Horseshoe; a son, James of Charlotte, N.C.; a daughter, Linda Price of Illinois; a brother, Leonard Wypych Depew; a sister, Mary Ann Holmes of Daytona Beach, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Services were private.
