James F. Flynn, an electrician who held associate's degrees from Alfred State College of Technology and Erie Community College, died unexpectedly Friday (Jan. 22, 1999) in his Buffalo home. He was 38.
A native of Batavia, Flynn was a 1980 graduate of Attica High School. His degree from Alfred State was in electrical repair; his degree from ECC was in computer science.
Self-employed as an electrician in Buffalo at the time of his death, Flynn was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include his parents, Eugene F. and Jeanne Hyland Flynn; a brother, Patrick; two sisters, Kathleen Crooks of Jacksonville, Fla., and Christine; and his paternal grandmother, Anne.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 50 East Ave. Burial will be in St. Vincent's Cemetery.
