Virginia D. McDonald, 86, formerly of Lockport, died after a short illness Thursday (Jan. 21, 1999) in the Newfane Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

The former Virginia Perlett was born in Muncie, Ind.

She was a retired unemployment claims examiner for the State Department of Labor.

Mrs. McDonald was a member of the Middleport Home Executives.

Her husband, Ellery, died in 1990.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald and David, both of Lockport; a daughter, Marilynn Meyers of Lakeland, Fla.; a sister, Suzanne West of El Paso, Texas; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton.
