DELIVERYWOMAN ROBBED AT GUNPOINT

Two men made off with $100 Friday night when they robbed a pizza deliverywoman at gunpoint, Detective John Olander said.

The employee of Bambino's Pizzeria and Restaurant, 1972 Falls St., said the robbery occurred at 7:09 p.m. just after she delivered a pizza to 1730 Beech Ave., Olander said.

As she was walking back to her vehicle, she said two men -- each about 18 -- approached and one of the men pointed a black handgun at her and demanded money.

She said she gave them the money and the robbers fled north, Officer Daniel Dobrasz said. One robber was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans, while the other wore a gray shirt or jacket, Dobrasz said.

Olander said he is investigating the robbery along with detectives James Lincoln and William Smith.
