Maxine E. Bentley, 58, who worked as a welder at Delphi Harrison Thermal Systems for 26 years, died Tuesday (Jan. 19, 1999) at home under the care of Niagara Hospice.
Born Maxine Averell in Niagara Falls, she was a graduate of Wilson High School. She had lived in Lockport for the last 15 years.
Mrs. Bentley retired from Delphi Harrison in 1997.
She was a member of the Hartland Conservationist Club and the United Auto Workers.
Surviving are her husband, Harry G.; two sons, Richard Gorham of Ransomville and Thomas Bentley of Salt Lake City; a daughter, Tonya Brown of Cambria; three sisters, Lorraine De Rize of Montclair, Calif., Sharon Zimmerman of Ransomville and Carol Jeffery; and seven grandchildren.
Services were private. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery, Cambria.
