Edna Mae Wilson, 87, who was a member of Yates Baptist Church of Lyndonville for more than 50 years, died Tuesday (Jan. 19, 1999) in Medina Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
Born Edna Brown in Yates, she lived in Albion for 21 years.
At one time, she sang in her church choir, was Sunday school superintendent and was president of the Ladies Missionary Society for two years.
She had worked at one time for Lyndonville Canning Co. and together with her husband had farmed from 1946 until 1966.
Mrs. Wilson enjoyed crafts, especially knitting, crocheting and making afghans for family and friends. Camping and fishing were favorite pastimes with her husband and family.
Her husband, Claude D., died in 1998.
Survivors include a daughter, Joan W. Boyer; a son, Frederick of Lyndonville; seven grandchil-dren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Barnes-Tuttle Funeral Home, 112 N. Main St., Lyndonville.
