Donald Kester, 45, of Round O, S.C., a carpenter and cabinetmaker who moved from Buffalo to South Carolina 18 months ago, was killed Sunday (Jan. 17, 1999) in a traffic accident in Summerville, S.C.

The Buffalo native was a graduate of Maryvale High School, Cheektowaga.

Survivors include his mother, Loretta Knapp of Summerville; four sisters, Janet Hartel of Depew, Carol Ellis of Clarence, Pattie Johnson of Colden and Joyce Shaw of Cottageville, S.C.; and five brothers, Earl, Allen and Elmer, all of Buffalo, Raymond of Washington, Md., and Edward of Cleveland.

Memorial services will be private. Burial will be in Father Baker Cemetery, Lackawanna.
