BARBER'S TWO ASSISTS AID LOSING ALL-STAR EFFORT

Buffalo Blizzard midfielder Danny Barber notched two assists in a losing cause at Wednesday's National Professional Soccer League All-Star game at Wichita, Kan. Barber's passes set up second-quarter goals by Mark Moser of the St. Louis and Dennis Brose of Detroit but their National Conference team fell, 23-15, to the American Conference.

Cleveland forward Zoran Karic was named most valuable player after scoring three goals and four assists for the winners. Former Blizzard forward Gino DiFlorio of the Harrisburg Heat, also scored for the winners.
