NEWFANE WOMAN CHARGED AFTER DOG BITES NEIGHBOR

A Main Street woman was charged Monday with violating the town's dog ordinance after a neighbor was bitten in the right leg Sunday, Trooper Daniel
Dedo said.

June M. Platt, 42, was cited for letting her dog run at large. The animal, a female German Shepherd named "Shelby," bit Donald A. Dietrich II, 35. Dedo said the dog's shots were up to date, but he instructed Ms. Platt to keep the dog quarantined for 10 days.
