HOW COULD ANYONE CONDONE DOCTOR'S MURDER?

This is in response to the letter pertaining to the ungodliness of two evils -- homosexuality and abortion. It is a fact that abortion is constitutionally protected, and that homosexuals are citizens who are protected by civil rights.

Those who advocate vigilante methods as appropriate means of suppressing constitutionally protected activities find comfort in appealing to a higher authority. History is replete with examples of atrocities committed in the name of a "higher authority." To protest what one believes to be immoral is one thing; to condone murder is quite another. Apparently the writer does not see this distinction.

Dr. Barnett Slepian, who was my doctor and my daughter's, quite literally sacrificed himself for his patients and we shall never forget.
