Duane E. Murphy of Waterport, a carpenter, died Thursday (Nov. 26, 1998) in Medina Memorial Health Care System. He was 43.
He was born in Montgomery, W.Va., and was a graduate of Lyndonville High School.
Murphy was employed as a carpenter for many years by Carpenters Local 80 of Rochester.
Survivors include three sons, Christopher of Medina, Tyler James and Timmy, both of Lyndonville; two daughters, Kathy of Medina and Tricia of Buffalo; his fiance, Monica Haight of Waterport; his parents, Burrel and Arlene of Lyndonville; three brothers, Craig Randall of Kent, Laird and Anthony, both of Lyndonville; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Rich Holcomb of West Virginia; and a grandson.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Cooper Funeral Home 215 W. Center St., Medina. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, West Shelby.
