Services for Ernest Richardson Jr., 70, an employee of the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library for 10 years and a retired department foreman at J.H. Williams Co., will be held at noon Friday in Deliverance Temple Church of God In Christ, 177 Sherman St. Burial will be in Forest Lawn.
Richardson, a Buffalo native, died Saturday (Nov. 21, 1998) in Sisters Hospital.
He attended School 31 and Fosdick Masten High School. He was a machine operator at the U.S. Rubber Reclaiming Co. in Cheektowaga for 18 years before going to work for J.H. Williams, where he worked for 28 years before retiring. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, the former Esther Gregory; three daughters, Marcell Redden, Marsha Johnson and Maria; a son, Edward; two sisters, Libby Sampson and Dolores Gist; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
