Anthony Wright, 26, was charged today with first-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon, according to Capt. Joseph Riga, Homicide Bureau chief.
Hyhisia Kendrick remains in critical condition in Erie County Medical Center. She was stabbed in the stomach at 6:46 p.m. Sunday in her residence in the 1000 block of Genesee.
