Services were held in Bonita Springs, Fla., for Frederick R.O'Neill, 73, a former Niagara Falls resident.
O'Neill, who moved to Bonita Springs in 1997, died Thursday (Nov. 19, 1998) at his residence after a long illness.
He was an elder of First Presbyterian Church in Niagara Falls.
He was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and was a Boy Scout leader. He served in the Army's 66th Infantry Division in Europe during World War II.
Surviving are three sons, James M. of Bonita Springs, Richard G. of Gig Harbor, Wash., and William F. of New York; a sister, Joyce Payne of Kenmore; a brother, Charles of North Tonawanda; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
