N. TONAWANDA WOMAN HURT IN MOSES PARKWAY CRASH

A North Tonawanda woman was hurt when the car in which she was riding crashed on the Robert Moses Parkway at 4:08 a.m. Sunday, State Police said.

Heather Wainwright, 19, of 244 Vandervoort St. was released after treatment for head and chest injuries in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.

The driver of the car, Tonya Kuidahl, 19, of 503 Tacoma Ave., Buffalo, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to keep right.

Troopers said the car had just entered the eastbound parkway at Quay Street when it struck a curb and went out of control. It careened across the median and the westbound lanes before crashing into a guardrail.
