JOHNSON RUES RUNNING WITH CROWD

Banned Canadian sprinter Ben Johnson warned high school students not to run with the crowd when it comes to drugs.

"As a kid, I didn't know much better. I kind of went with the flow. If I had discipline it would not have happened," he said Friday. "Don't make the mistake I did."

He was stripped of his gold medal in the 1988 Olympics after testing positive for steroids. He was banned from the sport for life in 1993 after failing another drug test.
