Things to do

The Indianapolis Colts take on the Buffalo Bills 1 p.m. Sunday at the stadium in Orchard Park. Plenty of seats are available.

The Checkers Athletic Club high school cross-country race starts at 10 a.m. Sunday at Elma Meadows.

The Niagara men's hockey team plays its second game on home ice (the first came Friday) when it faces Nebraska-Omaha tonight at 7. The Niagara women precede the men to the ice with an exhibition game today at 12:30 p.m. against the North York Junior Aeros.

Things to view

The Buffalo Sabres complete a home-and-home series with the Toronto Maple Leafs at 7 tonight at Maple Leaf Gardens on Channel 5 and Empire.

This is rivalry weekend in college football and some of the best games will be televised today. Michigan plays at Ohio State at noon on and Florida takes on Florida State at 3:30 p.m. on Channel 7, and Auburn battles Alabama at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN. Syracuse goes to Temple at 4 p.m. on Empire.

The semifinals of the Chase Championships, the women's tennis tour finale, will be shown at 1 p.m. today on MSG (the second match will be replayed on ESPN2 at 10 p.m.) and the final will be shown at 1 p.m. Sunday on Channel 7. The ATP World Tour Championships start today at 4 p.m. on ESPN and continue Sunday at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN.
