Chautauqua County sheriff's investigators concluded a two-week probe Friday into a Town of Arkwright burglary with the arrest of three Dunkirk teens. Tom Petz, 17, of Pike Street; Adam Rush, 17, of Greco Lane; and Michael Tate, 18, of Swan Street, were arrested in connection with a Nov. 8 burglary at a Cable Road residence.
Petz was charged with burglary, criminal mischief and petit larceny; Rush was charged with burglary and petit larceny; Tate was charged with burglary.
The trio allegedly broke into the residence by prying open a second-story window and taking several items, including cash and a large safe.
The three teens were taken to Chautauqua County Jail. Petz was held in lieu of $8,000 cash bail, and Rush and Tate were each held in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.
